Thom Merrilin

Full Name: Thomdril Merrilin
Pronunciation: TOM MER-rih-lihn

Chronology

Thom Merrilin is House bard for House Trakand before Morgase becomes Queen. He is her strongest supporter during the Succession. (TFoH,Ch19)
Thom becomes Court bard in the Royal Palace. He discovers Taringail's plot against Morgase and assassinates him. (TSR,Ch17)

He goes with Rand and Mat on the Spray down to Whitebridge. He leads them to The Wayfarer's Rest. They leave the inn in a hurry and prepare to leave town.
