Physical Description

She is young, with steady blue eyes. (TFoH,Ch49) She is a year or two younger than Nynaeve and wears her dark hair in a braid like Birgitte's. (LoC,Ch12)

Chronology

Areina follows her younger brother, Gwil, to Illian and winds up taking the oath of a Hunter of the Horn herself. (TFoH,Ch49)
Areina, Nicola, Marigan and her sons, Seve and Jaril, are among the refugees who board the Riverserpent with Nynaeve and Elayne. (TFoH,Ch48)
Of all the refugees, Nynaeve feels closest to Areina, Nicola and Marigan. The three decide to accompany Nynaeve and Elayne to Salidar. (TFoH,Ch49)
Nynaeve, Elayne, Thom, Juilin, Birgitte, Areina, Nicola, Marigan, Uno, Ragan and the rest of the Shienarans arrive at Salidar. (TFoH,Ch50)

Areina and Nicola try to blackmail Egwene into accelerating Nicola's lessons by threatening to disclose that Nynaeve and Elayne posed as full Aes Sedai while they were still Accepted. (ACoS,Ch9)
Areina and Nicola are in the camp with Nisao and Lan. They have been blackmailing Nisao and Myrelle to let her spend time with Lan. They are sent back to the main camp with dire threats. (ACoS,Ch12)
Bodewhin and Nicola practice making cuendillar while Areina watches. Sharina dismisses them to their class and Areina leaves with them. (CoT,Ch17)
