Delana Mosalaine

An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. She joined with the Salidar Aes Sedai and is a Sitter in the Salidar Hall. She is actually of the Black Ajah. She is younger than Escaralde but older than Aledrin and Kwamesa. She is Shienaran. She has no Warder.

Physical Description

She is stout with hair so pale it is almost white and pale blue eyes. She has a melodious voice. She is oddly graceful for one so stout. (LoC,Ch12) She is stout and pale-haired with watery blue eyes. (LoC,Ch44)

Delana and Janya grill Nynaeve thoroughly about Rand. (LoC,Ch12)
After Nynaeve Heals Logain, Sheriam, Romanda, Myrelle, Morvrin, Takima, Lelaine, Janya, Delana, Bharatine, Beonin, Varilin and Nisao all pile into the small room to see what happened. (LoC,Ch30)
Delana agrees to help Siuan play Romanda against Janya and Lelaine with the goal of having Sheriam let Siuan join in their meeting with the Wise Ones in Tel'aran'rhiod. Halima Saranov arrives and takes control of Delana. (LoC,Ch30)
The Salidar Sitters including Delana elect Egwene as their Amyrlin Seat. Delana is the first to stand on both votes. (LoC,Ch35)
Halima orders Delana to support all the factions in Salidar. She a also orders her to press for gentling or killing Logain. (LoC,Ch37)

Delana brings Egwene news that some Sitters want to negotiate. She is furious when Egwene okays the plan. She continues to push to have Elaida declared Black Ajah. (CoT,Ch16)
The Sitters meet to hear the report on Shadar Logoth. Delana arrives late and out of breath. She looks green when an alliance with the Black Tower is proposed. She votes NO, but when the lesser consensus holds, she cedes and stands for the greater consensus. (CoT,Ch19)
Early the next morning Halima leaves Egwene's tent to find Delana. (CoT,Ch20)
