Galina Casban

An Aes Sedai and head of the Red Ajah. She is actually second in command of the Black Ajah.

Chronology

Galina becomes Aes Sedai circa 915 NE. She joins the Black Ajah five years later. (ACoS,Ch40)
Galina takes a special interest in Tarna Feir, a wilder. Galina beats her block out of her. (LoC,Ch13)
Galina becomes head of the Red Ajah circa 981 NE. (ACoS,Ch40)
Galina leads the circle of Aes Sedai that stills Siuan Sanche. (ACoS,Ch40)
Coiren leads the first team of the White Tower embassy to Rand. The others include Erian, Galina, Katerine, Nesune and Sarene. They meet with three of the Shaido Wise Ones. (LoC,Prologue)
Coiren, Erian, Galina, Katerine, Nesune and Sarene arrive in Cairhien. (LoC,Ch24)
The White Tower embassy stays at the palace of Lady Arilyn. They meet with Rhuarc. (LoC,Ch25)

Galina questions Min trying to find out why she is important. She orders beatings for Rand after he goes berserk and kills two Warders. (LoC,Ch53)
Gawyn convinces Galina to stop the caravan when the Shaido near them at Dumai's Wells. She disappears during the battle. (LoC,Ch55)
After the battle at Dumai's Wells, Galina's horse is shot out from under her and she is captured by the Shaido. (ACoS,Prologue)
Nine days after the battle at Dumai's Wells Galina and her captors arrive at Sevanna's camp. She has been beaten into submission. She is called da'tsang. When Caddar opens gateways, Sevanna brings Galina with her to Ghealdan. (ACoS,Ch40)
Galina is forced to swear obedience to the Wise Ones and Sevanna and Therava first among them. They use the binder Sevanna got from Caddar. (TPoD,Ch11)
Therava and Someryn bring Galina along to view Faile and the other new gai'shain. Galina Heals their frostbite. Later, she learns who Faile is and blackmails her into stealing the binder from Therava. (WH,Ch4)
Galina berates Maighdin when she fails in her attempt to burgle Therava’s tent, but Aravine intervenes. She learns that Faile stole a knife and turns her in to Sevanna. (CoT,Ch9)
