An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She sides with the White Tower. She is an Illianer. Two of her Warders are Bartol and Rashan.

Chronology

Coiren leads the first team of the White Tower embassy to Rand. The others include Erian, Galina, Katerine and Nesune. They meet with three of the Shaido Wise Ones. (LoC,Prologue)
Coiren, Erian, Galina, Katerine, Nesune and Sarene arrive in Cairhien. (LoC,Ch24)
The White Tower embassy stays at the palace of Lady Arilyn. They meet with Rhuarc. (LoC,Ch25)
Coiren, Erian, Galina and Sarene discuss the mysterious Green Ajah sister in Cairhien and whether or not she is really Moiraine. (LoC,Ch25)
Erian visits the White Spray at the docks but she is refused boarding. (LoC,Ch27)
Erian enthusiastically punishes Rand after he kills two of her Warders. (LoC,Ch53)
Even Erian refuses to continue beating Rand after the second day. (LoC,Ch55)
Coiren, Erian, Katerine, Nesune and Sarene are among the Aes Sedai captured by the Asha'man at Dumai's Wells. (LoC,Ch55)

Beldeine, Elza, Erian, Nesune and Sarene are in the sunroom of the Sun Palace with Cadsuane. Sorilea enters and gives them a lecture. (WH,Ch13)
Cadsuane allows Beldeine, Elza, Erian, Nesune and Sarene to accompany her to Far Madding, but she does not allow them to bring their Warders. (WH,Ch23)
Erian does not seem to make it on the trip from Far Madding to Shadar Logoth. Is this a mistake or is she somewhere else? (WH,Ch35)
Corele, Daigian, Merise, Beldeine, Elza, Erian, Nesune, Sarene and Verin accompany Cadsuane and Rand to the Pendaloan estate in eastern Tear to recuperate. (CoT,Ch23)
Erian and Sarene report to Rand and Cadsuane that their Warders, Rashan, Bartol and Vitalien, have Traveled from Cairhien and are nearby. Elza acknowledges that Fearil is also with them. (CoT,Ch23)
