She is Windfinder of the Sea Folk Clan Shodein. Her husband is Mishael. Her younger sister is Harine din Togara Two Winds, Wavemistress of Clan Shodein.

Verin delivers Harine, Moad and Shalon to Tear for the conclave to elect a new Mistress of the Ships. (CoT,Ch23)
