Lady Ines Demain

A noblewoman of Chachin. Her son Rahien was born near the end of the Aiel War.

Physical Description

Lady Ines Demain gives birth in a farmhouse two miles from Dragonmount the day after Gitara's Foretelling. She names her son Rahien because she sees the sun rise over Dragonmount. (NS,Ch23, NS,Epilogue)
Her husband dies suddenly. She loved him dearly so she goes into seclusion at the Aesdaishar Palace for a full month of mourning. (NS,Ch24)

NS,Ch17 – After Jurine Najima, Moiraine's next targets are Avene Sahera in a village and Ines Demain in Chachin.
NS,Ch23 – Siuan learns that Ines Demain is newly a widow and is in the Aesdaishar Palace. She named her son Rahien because see saw the sun come up over Dragonmount.
NS,Ch24 – Siuan learns that Ines Demain's husband died ten days ago. She loved him dearly so she is in seclusion for a full month.
NS,Ch25 – Moiraine tells Siuan to do anything she can to get close to Lady Ines.
NS,Ch25 – Moiraine and Siuan are puzzled because Merean is spending time with Prince Consort Brys instead of Lady Ines.
