Location

Katar lies just west of the Mountains of Mist and north of the Paerish Swar. It is ruled by a group of Lords.

Guide - Katar was built on the site of Iman, the capital of Safer, which was destroyed during the Trolloc Wars. There is a Waygate at Katar.
CoT,Prologue - Because of Rodel Ituralde's victories, the Lords of Katar no longer sell their goods to the enemies of Arad Doman.
TGS,Ch31 - Rand suggests Katar as a location for his meeting with the Daughter of the Nine Moons but the Seanchan reject it.
