Powl accompanies the wagon with Elayne as the Black Ajah sisters ride out of Caemlyn. He is filled with death rage after the Windfinders' lightning kills Asne. (KoD,Ch32)
It takes two Guardsmen to restrain Powl even though he is bound with Air. (KoD,Ch33)

WH,Ch10 - Asne unmasked the bond to her Warders when she left Samara. She wants muscles and steel at hand.
