An Aiel shortly after the Breaking and Rand's ancestor. His son is Jeordam. His second greatfather is Adan. His parents are Marind and Saralin. His sister is Maigran.

Physical Description

He is tall and graying with a hard face. (TSR,Ch25)

Adan holds Lewin and Maigran after their father is killed in a raid by bandits. (TSR,Ch26)
Lewin and his friends, Luca, Gearan, Charlin and Alijha, free two girls, Maigran and Colline from bandits. They kill the bandits. When they return to their camp, Adan, Saralin and Nerrine disown them for using violence. (TSR,Ch25)
When the Jenn come to Lewin for refuge after a raid, he tells them they can stay only if they fight. (TSR,Ch25)
