Kara Defane

She is the wise woman of a fishing village on Toman Head. She is a wilder who was taken as damane by the Seanchan.

Physical Description

She is plump and merry-eyed. She appears to be in her early twenties though she is nearly fifty. (KoD,Ch14)

Kara is captured by the Seanchan on Toman Head and made damane. (WH,Ch8)
Kara is one of the damane captured by Rand's forces in Altara. Rand sends the captured damane and sul'dam to Elayne in Caemlyn. (TPoD,Ch23, WH,Ch8)
In the Royal Palace, Reanne determines that Kara is ready to have her a'dam removed. (WH,Ch8)
Reanne continues to work with Kara Defane and Lemore. They still cannot be trusted near sul'dam even though they are not Seanchan. (KoD,Ch14)
