Glossaries - After the end of the War of the Hundred Years, the date was uncertain, so Uren din Jubai Soaring Gull proposed a new system dating from the end of the war. Panarch Farede of Tarabon promoted this calendar which became known as the Farede Calendar. The numbering system is NE for "New Era."
