The last King of Manetheren. Son of Caar and grandson of Thorin. His wife was Queen Eldrene.

After many successful battles against the Shadow he is finally killed when his forces are overwhelmed by Trollocs and Dreadlords at the site of present day Emond's Field. (TEotW,Ch9)
