Chronology

Rand jumps onto the Spray landing on a sleeping Floran Gelb. Bayle Domon threatens to put him off the boat for sleeping on the job. (TEotW,Ch20)
He tries to get the crew to take his side, to no avail, against Rand, Mat and Thom. (TEotW,Ch24)
He is tossed off the ship at Whitebridge by Bayle Domon. He makes his way to The Wayfarer's Rest and tries to tell his story to some of the patrons inside. (TEotW,Ch26)
In Tanchico, Egeanin hires Floran Gelb to find a'dam and certain women. He mistakenly kidnaps a local minor noble, Lady Leilwin. (TSR,Ch38)
Gelb meets with Egeanin in the Garden of Silver Breezes. He brings an a'dam and asks for more money to continue his search. (TSR,Ch38)
Gelb hires several thugs. Mistaking Nynaeve for a sul'dam named Surine, Gelb and his thugs try to kidnap Nynaeve and Elayne, but they wind up with only a severe beating from the two and Egeanin. (TSR,Ch46)
