Yulan accompanies Captain-General Miraj as he plans for the final battle with Rand's forces. After the devastation, Yulan covers Miraj's body and orders a general retreat. He will now have to apologize to High Lady Suroth and the Empress. (TPoD,Ch24)
Yulan and many other high-ranking officers are staying at The Wandering Woman. He plays cards for high stakes and wins. (WH,Ch19)
High Lady Suroth orders Captain Yulan to send most of his raken to Tarabon to find and deal with Rodel Ituralde. (KoD,Prologue)
